The Film Society is proud to present a special advance screening of ALEXANDER, controversial director Oliver Stone's long-awaited film about the life and times of the great Macedonian king and conqueror, starring Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie and Anthony Hopkins. This is Stone's first foray into the world of epic filmmaking, and it promises to be one of the liveliest movies of 2004. The screening will be preceded by a conversation between Mr. Stone and the Film Society's program director Richard Peņa.

A cocktail reception with Mr. Stone from 6pm to 7pm in the Frieda and Roy Furman Gallery will precede the conversation and screening.

Tickets: $35 screening only; $60 reception and screening.
